Our pet portraits are original works of art, hand painted with the finest materials that will last a lifetime and gain in value.  We do many portraits of pets, a lasting tribute to a beloved friend, a special gift or simply a fine painting to treasure and enjoy. We offer a friendly, experienced and professional service so if you are unsure of anything please get in touch and we will be happy to offer advice. We accept commissions from all over the world and will be happy to provide you with a quote in your own currency on request. If you would like to commission a portrait of your dog, cat horse or parrot (or other pets!) here are a few things to consider.

 Size

Please let us know an approximate size you would like your finished portrait to be...i.e. 14" x 11" etc.

Medium

Please let us know whether you would prefer your portrait in oils, pastels or watercolours.  Each has it's own unique qualities which you will see from the examples on this website.  If you are unsure please ask for advice.

We can include several pets in one portrait.  They do not have to be in the same photograph either.  Just send along clear close-up photos of each pet you would like included.  If you would like advice on the quality of your photos please look at our Photo Tips page.  Check with us regarding pricing as including several pets in one portrait greatly affects the time taken to complete the work.

Please let us know if there is anything you would like included in the portrait.  A background for example can be simple or detailed, or the name of your pet.  Would you like a head study or a full body pose?  If you require the portrait for a specific date please let us know and allow as much time as possible.

We believe in the exceptional quality of our work but if for any reason you are not entirely happy with your finished painting you are under no obligation to accept it.

Once you have selected your photographs and the other information please contact us for an exact price, with no obligation.  This price will include shipping and will be payable on completion of the painting.  We ask for a non-refundable deposit of 25% with your order.  You will be dealing directly with the artist who is undertaking your commission and she will give you you an idea how long it will take depending on her current workload as well as being happy to keep you up to date with progress.  When the portrait is completed you will be sent a scanned copy either via email or post for your approval.  Once we have received your final payment your painting is shipped immediately with insurance.
