A little about us......

MARILYN MARSH       (Contact email)

Marilyn is a self-taught artist, although she has taken many workshops with artist like: Carl Brenders, Robert Bateman, John Seerey-Lester, and Terry Issacs, to mention the more well known.  Marilyn and her husband Gene live on a farm in Iowa where we raise cattle and row crop.  We have one son, who is also my best critic.  I was always inspired by wildlife and western art.  Having owned many horses, they are among my favorites along with big cats and native wildlife.  I travel extensively to photograph my subjects so I can paint them later. My husband helps me set up and do art shows.  While acrylic is my main medium, I also paint in watercolor and gouache and scratchboard.  No subject is off limits. Please email Marilyn if you are interested in purchasing one of her paintings or prints, or if you have any questions.

JUDY SCHRADER  (Contact Email)

Judy and her husband Terry live in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest in rural Pennsylvania. They have two grown children; Terry Jr. and Kristi Dawn, and a grandson Hunter, of whom they are very proud.

Judy began painting in 1978. Oil is her favorite medium although she works with acrylic, colored pencil and mixed media.  She thinks that every painting is a learning experience and hopefully can grow from each one.

Judy has always loved to draw and credits her artistic gift to her grandfather, Ernest Albaugh. An artist most of his life, he was self-taught and enjoyed giving paintings to his family and friends. As a child Judy would take her drawings to her grandfather so he could help her with her work.

Judy's favorite subjects to paint are animals. She loves bringing her canvas to life through the eyes and personality of the subjects she paints. She enjoys painting wildlife, pet portraits, farm animals and country scenes. Living in the country, Judy has access to beautiful scenery and animals. The streams, trees, meadows, domestic and wild animals are such an inspiration for painting. Judy takes her camera when she goes for hikes in the woods, you never know what kind of animal you may see. Judy has paintings with clients worldwide, throughout the USA, Europe, Australia, Mexico and Canada.
